FERNCO MD-33 3” CAST IRON NO-HUB COUPLING

This 3-inch cast iron no-hub coupling is from Fernco. Engineered specifically for connecting no-hub cast iron pipe of compatible diameters. The patented shield design transfers clamping pressure across the gasket and pipe, helping create a positive and reliable connection without the traditional hub-and-spigot joint. This coupling is a medium duty configuration with four clamps, 5/16-inch hex-head screws that should be tightened to 80 in.-lbs. of installation torque, and a distinctive yellow shield.
