ClearLOC Installation
ClearLOC fittings are designed for easy installation – Here’s how it works:

Cut the Tube
Use a clean, square cut. For nominal tubing sizes:
– 1/2” = 15/16″ insertion
– 3/4” = 1″ insertion
– 1” = 1-1/8″ insertion -
Prep the Tube
Make sure it’s round, smooth, and clean. No burrs or scratches. No lube needed—just rinse with potable water if desired. -
Insert the Tube
For PEX/PE-RT: Insert the provided stiffener, then push the tube into the fitting. – For Copper or CPVC: Push straight in until it stops. -
Visually Confirm
Look through the fitting—verify the tube hit the stop. Pull firmly to check it’s locked in place. -
Align and Support
Rotate the fitting as needed, then support tubing per code. *Keep supports at least 2” from fittings* to prevent unwanted movement and leaks. -
Test It
Max working pressure: 250 psi
Max working temp: 200°F (limited by tubing type)
Pressure test the system and check for leaks before finishing the job.
Easy Removal
To disconnect:
– Relieve pressure.
– Use a standard release tool (sized for 1/2″, 3/4″, or 1″).
– Press the tool against the release collar and pull the tube out. Done.
